HI…
On Saturday, 9th july my wife, my daughter and I went to Cameron Highland…This is not planned, though heheh...We started our journey around 12 0’clock. Our routes are as follows

Kulim-Jawi-Simpang Pulai-Brinchang

We arrived at Tringkap around 3 heheh. We were very excited to see all the things and scenery around us, it’s just marvelous!!! Our first stop is at  a Farm, where you got the chance to pick your own strawberries for rm 40/kg..Hmmm quite expensive, but the experienced is very valuable. But we didn’t go for it heheh just too expensive for us..

Upon arriving Brinchang, the traffic was getting very, very, very slow… as it turned out, there’s a ‘pasar malam’ in Brinchang, which for us, is just the right place to shop, because we thought it might be cheaper hehe.Thank goodness, we were right!!!

As usual, we bought a lot of vegetables, and my wife was very attracted to the cactus sold there, and she bought a lot. “I am starting my collection now hehehe.”

For my child, I bought her a snow cap for rm6...  She really enjoys the cool climate hehehe. We bought our strawberries here, 2.5 kg for rm30!

As I was longing for some rice, we found out that this pasar malam also provides halal and delicious food! And you can buy 3 whole pieces of fried crabs for only rm5!! Very nice…

After that, we went further up to see if we can find anything new.. but we were just too late as its getting dark already. We stopped by Tanah Rata and had some tea there. The famous Bharat Tea Shop was closed, so we just had tea at some mamak shop.

We headed down from Tanah rata around 8pm and arrived at simpang Pulai around 10pm. My wife vomited a few times and my child cried for some time during the journey down. Word of advice, don’t stop anywhere in the jungle, because you don’t know who’s waiting for you out there… (just to be careful) because it was too dark and foggy, and the roads are just like a beaten snake.. only a few Orang asli settlements through the entire route to Simpang Pulai.

We decided to try the old road, meaning no highway. We headed to Ipoh, and stopped at a Petronas petrol station to refuel and some refreshments. Then we headed to Chemor-Sungai Siput-Kuala Kangsar when then I decided its better for us to take the highway if we want to reach home early. So we get into the PLUS at Kuala Kangsar. And we arrived home safely around 1.15 am.

Along the way, we’ve noticed that many police roadblocks are held, and it was all because of this BERSIH 2.0 rally. I do agree the police making the roadblocks, but not for this purpose only, they should be regularly done to discourage the criminals… all exits we can see the roadblocks, lucky for us there were no jams hehehe.

So that was our spontaneous journey hehehe. We decided to go up again some other time...
no picture though, because i have no camera, yet..
